Pagans Sounding Off!

Looks like were back into the movie scene again...First theres the show 'Charmed' about 3 young sisters who was left a Book of Shadows found in a trunk and they are being persues by (Oh Please,spare me) a 'Warlock' that wants to kill then and steal away their powers. OK First off a 'Warlock' is someone that is an 'Oathbreaker' and second that doesnt always apply to a male,nor do they have to be a Witch.At least the show was shown in somewhat of a decent light,and I do mean somewhat...I hope and pray the series gets better because from what many have said it couldnt get any worse that what was already premiered in the Pilot Episode!

Also coming out soon is the Movie that will be at the Theatres called 'Practical Magic' its about Bullock and Kidman in a situation of Magick and Witchcraft and how it may go awry...I sure do hope when it comes out its better than the 'Craft' and also the Diabolical end(Witches dont believe in a Devil,mind you)isnt in this one. If Witchcraft and Paganism is going to make a home and place in this world,much of the societies negativism must be overcome with education and practical functions.

First of all I am not in the Movie industry,and Im no Movie critic,Bit I am a Male Witch and I do take offece to the Unseelie difficulties that such Hollywood antics portrays us as..Some I have spoken with thinks this is a good thing, and people are being edged into more of an aceptance of us and our Religion of the Old.I guess Im a little more sceptical when I see 'Murder,Rape, and Misuse of magick' as a norm for us in Hollywood so they can sell sensationism.

OK,OK, Im being a bit harsh right now,Saturn is retrograde and my cat Familiar cant find Her toy..but in the series 'Charmed' the Siamese cat that was wearing the Gaelic Triquerta,shows a different light about symbols instead of the Typical Pentagram that frightens the dickens out of most of the 'Mortal Kind' and those who offset the more' Wiccan thats the most Pickan' of the symbols. Granted I think the cat was lovely and it can come stay with me..I mean after such a gastly televised,bogus murder of a Witch doing a 'charm' of opening and protection then getting the sharp end of an 'Athame' just wasnt my idea of 'getting the point' across.I mean who was going to feed th cats for the Goddess's sake!

Yes this reminds me of the time when I was watching the Movie 'The Craft' and during the 'battle scene' of the good and bad Witches...My Familiar decided to stinck up the place by going to the litter box and what a go it was! I agree my sentiments exactly! How wise cat Familiars(and all familiars are) I wonder how much the Siamese on the 'Charmed' is getting for Her role,lots and lots of treats we hope. Best of all the Familiar cat wasnt just a cat..it wasnt a 'Black cat' Yay!Because most Cat familiars were really orange tabby's,not black cats.

Alrighty now Pagans who are also movie buffs..We at the Whispering Stones wants your opinion about these shows,movies,series,etc..
